HARVEY AG WEEKLY WRAP-UP

This is the final formal week for the current Year 11 students. Some students are returning next week to undertake the Certificate III in Advanced Wool Handling and AusChem course. 

 

Year 10 Students still have a further two weeks to focus and complete their final assessments and course requirements to the best of their ability. This will help them position themselves and to be prepared as best they can to commence Year 11 next year. 

 

After Week 8, Year 10s will then commence their Work Experience Program. Mrs Raper has been communicating with students, parents/carers and the work experience hosts and is currently finalising the last details for the program. 

 

Graduation and Prize Day

It was fantastic to see so many people in attendance at the Graduation and Prize Day last Friday. This event is always a highlight on the College calendar and was a great way to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements and success of Year 10 and 11 students, in particular, the graduating cohort for 2024. 

 

Thanks to the Year 12 students and their parents/carers for being part of Harvey Ag for the last two or three years. To the graduating students, please stay in touch and call in from time to time to let us know what you are doing and how you are doing. 

 

Congratulations to all scholarship and prize recipients across the year groups. 

 

Thank you to all the staff who assisted in various ways to make the day run smoothly. Particular thanks to the Year 12 Councillors for 2025, who were the MCs on the day; you performed your duties to the highest standard – well done!

 

Transition 

As one group of students depart the College, another commences. This Sunday 17th November, we welcome 68 new students and their parents/carers to the College for the Transition Program to prepare for the 2025 school year. 

 

The students will undertake a two-day program across the College on Monday and Tuesday, along with all students staying in the residence. Exciting times as we welcome the new cohort of students to Harvey Ag.
