Mullauna Sport

Year 8 Interschool Sport:

On Thursday September 5th, the year 8 Girls Table Tennis team (consisting of Amelia, Eleni, Keeley, Marlie & Ruby) were able to finish on top in their pool against 2 teams from Ashwood, earning them the title of Mullum Division Champions, where they’ll compete against the best teams from the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR) on Friday October 18th next term. Congratulations to all year 8 teams who represented the college with pride, passion and commitment at Table Tennis & Basketball on the day.

Year 7 Interschool Sport:

A strong contingent of year 7 students represented Mullauna at Hockey, Table Tennis & Basketball at the interschool sport round robin on Tuesday September 17th, where the boys Hockey team finished as runners-up to Ashwood in an impressive display of team cohesion, tactical nous and strategy across each of their 4 matches.

Across Mullauna’s 4 Basketball teams (including both boys & girls teams), only 2 matches were lost throughout the entire round robin, which is a testament to the overall level of skill, teamwork & dedication to their matches.

Some 60 students attended Division Athletics on Thursday September 12th, where numerous records were broken & personal best results were attained.
