Regional Athletics

The regional athletics event was held at Keilor Athletics centre on Tuesday 22nd October. Macedon PS had 4 competitors. Ted S, Ida S, Archer D and Monique P competed for our school. 

Ted S was in the 9/10 boys high jump and hurdles events. He achieved a PB of 1.30 metres in the high jump and came 4th. 

Archer Damrow was in the 9/10 boys triple jump and achieved a PB of 7.88 metres. 

Monique Parchent was in the 11 year girls long jump and was very close to her personal best. She jumped 3.69 metres.

Ida Southey was in the 9/10 girls long jump. She was very happy with her achievement and enjoyed meeting competitors from around Victoria. 

It is a fantastic achievement to reach this level in the athletics competition. We are super proud of their achievements. Well done!
