In History, students have been learning about Dreamtime.
We are learning about history.

VOCABULARY
Dreamtime: Dreamtime is a commonly used term for describing important features of Aboriginal spiritual beliefs and existence.
History: the study of the past.
Continuality: things that stay the same or are unchanged over time.
Change: when something becomes different.
Indigenous:
the original or earliest known inhabitants (people who found) of an area.
Aboriginals are the earliest inhabitants of Australia
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Students can engage in dreamtime stories such as:
- How the Kangaroo got her pouch
- Tiddalick the frog
- How birds got their colours
Students can then discuss how these stories may be similar or different to their own stories.
