Code of Conduct: Parents and Visitors

Here at St Thomas the Apostle primary school, there is an expectation for all adults and students to behaviour in a safe and respectful way. Our Code of Conduct supports us with this.

Purpose of the Code of Conduct:

The Code of Conduct is in place to:

  • Keep all students safe – emotionally and physically.
  • Create a respectful, welcoming school environment for everyone.
  • Ensure adults behave in a way that supports children's wellbeing.
  • Set clear rules for how adults should act while at school or school events.
  • Help prevent harm, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • Make sure concerns are reported properly and handled by the right people.

It helps everyone – students, staff, and visitors – feel safe, respected, and supported.

Please find the code of conduct for all our parents and visitors to read and action as appropriate.

Thanks everyone,
