Auslan

This week in Auslan, our Prep to Grade 3 students have been busy with some exciting learning!

Grades 1–3: Students explored farm-themed vocabulary, drawing on their knowledge of colour and number signs to create their own imaginative farm scenes. They also had lots of fun learning to sign the classic song "Old MacDonald Had a Farm."

Preps: Our youngest learners practised their number signs and created their very own number books. They also learned to sign the song "Five Cheeky Monkeys." Using puppets and snapping crocodiles they made themselves, students acted out the song—giving them a great way to practise at home too!

It's been a fun and hands-on week full of movement, creativity, and Auslan learning!
