3/4 Sport

Rosalie Welton - Classroom Teacher 4A

As we head into the Winter months of Term 2, it’s a perfect time to highlight the remarkable efforts of our sports 3/4 Sport every Thursday afternoon. This term’s monitors have demonstrated exceptional organisation and diligence in their roles, supporting our weekly sports program. Our monitors, Elke, Eloise, Luella, Charlie, Shia, Freddie, Poppy, Alby, Alison, Conor and Olivia have excelled in several key areas:

  • Setup and Pack Down: The monitors have been responsible for efficiently setting up and packing down the sports equipment, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for all participants.
  • Communication: They have actively communicated the playing schedules to their peers, helping everyone stay informed and prepared for their activities.
  • Responsibility: Attending regular meetings on time and well prepared, as well as taking good care of the sporting equipment for Mr D. These efforts have not only streamlined our sports sessions but have also fostered a sense of responsibility and teamwork among students.

This term we have been playing Basketball, Aussie Rules Football, Netball and Rounders, and each week the competitions have been fierce. Stay tuned for who our Term 2 winners will be - announced by our monitors at the final assembly for this term. Hint: At this mid point of the term, there is no clear winner yet - any house could win!
