-Using appositives (a word or phrase that renames or gives more information about a nearby noun or pronoun) in sentences.
Students will also be summarising the content learned in reading to write Single Paragraph Outlines (SPOs).

Inquiry
Students are working hard to prepare for our Celebration of Learning at the end of the term. They have spent time researching, and are now synthesising the information to create their masterpieces. We are looking forward to sharing them with you all!
SWPBS Dojo Points
At Barwon Heads Primary School, we value the importance of positive feedback in supporting student growth and wellbeing. Our Dojo Points system celebrates students who consistently demonstrate our core values. of Respect, Responsibility, and Being Your Best. Students work towards earning 200 Dojo Points, which they can redeem for a special reward—either a movie session or a delicious donut! They can choose to 'cash in' their dojo points when they get to 50, 100, or 150 points, for a different reward. This system helps motivate and encourage positive behaviour while reinforcing the strong, supportive culture of our school community.
