School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our fourth newsletter of the term. We hope everyone enjoyed the King’s Birthday Holiday last weekend and took advantage of the day off. Here are a few highlights from the past two weeks.
Today the Year Threes went to IMAX. They watched a 3D movie about Earth, as well as going to the museum where they learned about the solar system and the origins of earth.
Another wonderful thing that has happened last week, is the Essendon Football Club came down to talk with the Year Twos about healthy habits and also to speak to them about being an elite athlete and what it feels like to be one!
These past few weeks the Year Fives and Sixes have been training for their netball tournament and the squad has been narrowed down to 20 people. The students selected from the squad will be competing in Netball Victoria School Championships. We wish everyone who participates in this great opportunity, good luck!
This week we have had the opportunity to participate in an internship at the office. We got to answer any calls coming to the office at recess. We also got to make any needed announcements over the loudspeaker. We enjoyed this very much and had heaps of fun.
We also wish Sam S (4CT) the best of luck at the regionals cross country next Thursday, we’re all rooting for you!
Finally, we hope everyone has an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see everyone next week!
Sincerely,
Your School Captains, Engy, Astin and Sam
