Celebrating Our Gold Award for Positive Behaviour

We are incredibly proud to share that our school has been recognised with a Gold Award for our efforts in promoting Positive Behaviour Support across the whole school community.

This achievement has been years in the making, beginning in 2018 when we first introduced the PBS framework to our school. Since then, our journey has been shaped by rich discussions, thoughtful reflection, and the careful use of data to guide each step forward.

Each year, we’ve built on our foundations—revisiting and refreshing our Matrix – outlining the behaviour expectation we have at school - Lesson Plans, Handbooks – available on our website, and other key documents to ensure they stay relevant and meaningful to our students and staff. These updates have helped create a consistent and supportive learning environment, where everyone knows what is expected and how we can all work together to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture.

A key part of our progress has been involving students in the process. In 2024, we proudly launched our Student PBS Team, giving students a voice in shaping our school values and recognising positive behaviour in their peers. This has strengthened the sense of ownership and pride students feel in their school.

Receiving the Gold Award is a wonderful recognition of the hard work of our staff, students, and wider school community. But more importantly, it reflects the strong, positive culture we’ve built together—one that celebrates respect, resilience, inclusion, and responsibility every day.

We’re excited to continue our PBS journey and can’t wait to see where it takes us next!

Notice Boards

“As you may have noticed we have some new additions around our school. Our new noticeboards display our Whole School Matrix and the High 5 strategy. The boards near 1/2B, in the courtyard (3/4) and at the Centre also display the Echuca Twin Rivers Primary Communication Tree and upcoming important dates.”
