Curriculum Update

National Simultaneous Storytime, May 21st at Westbreen Primary School

Last Wednesday all the students at Westbreen P.S were once again involved in the annual reading of the chosen ALIA Simultaneous Storytime book. This year the book was ‘The Truck Cat’ written by Debrorah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. Following on from the reading of the story, the students were given the opportunity to complete a variety of activities throughout the day. Well done to all students and staff for their efforts in celebrating reading through this whole school event.

Premiers Reading Challenge

Reminder to log in and get reading with the Premiers Reading Challenge. If you have lost your log in details don't worry, ask Miss Jill in the office and she will be able to assist you.

Remember if you complete the challenge you will receive a certificate later on in the year. So get started and continue your reading by Friday 5th September.
