Religious Education

On Thursday, Peter Hogan visited our school to speak with the students about his important work with the Friends of St. Teresa's Hospital. He shared insights into the organization's mission to build a children's hospital in South Sudan, a region in desperate need of healthcare services.

Peter emphasized the significance of Catholic Social Teaching, encouraging students to reflect on our call to action to support those in need, particularly in areas affected by poverty and conflict. His talk inspired students to consider how they can contribute to global efforts in making a difference.

We are grateful for Peter's visit and the opportunity to learn more about this vital project. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, solidarity, and service in our daily lives.  We will be fundraising for the St. Teresa's Hospital throughout the year.

Easter Units of Work

As part our Lenten journey, students are currently learning about the Stations of the Cross and the story of Good Friday. They are visiting the church to take part in a reflective walk through the fourteen stations, each representing a moment in the Passion of Christ. The students are reflecting on Jesus' sacrifice and the significance of His journey to the cross.  Students are responding to the Stations through craft, drama and reflection.

First Holy Communion Workshop

We had a wonderful turn out to our Communion Workshop last week.

See a reflection from the night below.

Please keep the Communicants in your prayers.
