Foundation

On Wednesday, the Foundation students were lucky enough to have a Community Helper come visit us. Ms Tobin's mum is a nurse and she visited the Foundation classes to share what being a nurse is like and how we can look after ourselves. We also spoke about what a home First Aid kit needs.

This term in Inquiry, the Year 2 students are learning about emotions and the different strategies they can use for regulation. The students conducted a round-robin style lesson, where they trialled a number of different strategies - ranging from puzzles, weaving, fidget toys and mindful colouring!

Year 4

The Year 4 students are currently undertaking the unit, 'Putting it into my body'!

They were so lucky to have parent and nutritionalist, Leanne, talk to the students about healthy eating.

Year 5

Congratulations to the students for their amazing effort during NAPLAN. There were a few excited faces when this assessment was finally finished.

Year 6

What an opportunity for the Year 6 students last week who went to the Australian Grand Prix as part of their learning for STEAM!
