The Environmental Science Leaders organised an activity for Clean Up Australia Day, which was officially on Sunday 2nd March. Each class participated by cleaning up our school. The Environmental Science Leaders counted all the rubbish that was collected! As we were collecting the rubbish we found out that our school was cleaner than we expected! Let’s keep up the great work and continue to put our rubbish in the bins!!
The Grade 4s and SLC students are attending Athletics to represent our school on Friday 28th March. They have been performing amazingly well and are practising to be their best and we hope to see our school on the podium!

The next group of Leaders got their badges and certificates on Friday 7th March. It was a very exciting assembly for them and their families. We look forward to working with all our Student Leaders knowing that we can help improve our school and make positive changes. We are excited to listen to lots of Student Voice and put things into action!
Across the school, everyone has started to use laptops and ipads which has made our students very happy and grateful to be able to use them. We have all been learning about Cyber Safety in our classrooms and discovering the importance of being safe on-line at school AND at home!
Recently the SLC went to Willum Warrain and learnt about the Bunurong / Boonwurrung people and their connection to land, water and our earth. When they came back they had so many stories to tell!
