Snapshots from Springvale Campus

We are excited to share with you the fun-filled events and important updates that have been happening on Springvale Campus during the last fortnight.

Our Foundation Family Fun Day was held last Friday. This event has truly become one of the signature highlights of the SRPS calendar and it was once again a tremendous success. It was wonderful to see so many families come together for a day of laughter, learning and entertainment. The event included a mobile animal farm where students had the chance to get up close to a variety of friendly animals, including rabbits, sheep and chickens. We were also treated to a vey funny magician show that left everyone in awe. I still can’t work out how Felix the magician made his table fly! I think it might be the help that our Foundation students offered by saying some special magic words and waving their magic fingers. He couldn’t have done without them!

Our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students is always a top priority at Sprignvale Rise Primary School. Recently, some of our staff completed an essential First Aid and CPR Training session. This training equips our team with the skills to respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies. We are proud of our dedicated staff who continue to maintain the highest level of care for our students.

In another exciting eventplayers from the St. Kilda Football Club visited our Springvale Campus for an engaging Q&A session and autograph signing opportunity with the MLC and SLC students. The students were able to ask the players questions about their careers, training and what it’s like to be part of a professional sports team. It was inspiring for our students to hear first-hand about the dedication and hard work required to succeed in sports. Some students have already started working on their football career by attending the free after school AusKick sessions which started yesterday and will run each Thursday for the next four weeks. We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the AFL for organising these valuable experiences and for planning to arrange another club to visit our Heights Campus later in the year.

Have a wonderful weekend!
