Outstanding Performances at Division Swimming

On Tuesday, 11th March, 13 talented swimmers from Holy Cross competed at the Division Swimming Championships at Melton Waves Leisure Centre. We are incredibly proud of each competitor for their dedication, effort, and sportsmanship in representing our school so beautifully.

The day was filled with outstanding achievements, including multiple first-place finishes and even a new Division record! Oliver had an exceptional meet, winning three events and breaking records in each, including the 9/10 Boys Freestyle Relay, which had been held by Holy Cross since 2022. Stephanie claimed first place in the 11 Girls Backstroke and was part of the first-place 11 Girls Freestyle Relay team, alongside Ruby, Scarlett, and Elizabeth. Finnan also impressed, securing two first-place finishes in the 9/10 Boys Breaststroke and Relay. Max earned a strong second place in the 11 Boys Backstroke, while Maya and Jameson placed in the top four in their events.

PMP for Preps

Our Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) helps Prep children develop essential movement skills in a fun, structured way. Through activities that enhance coordination, balance, fitness, and spatial awareness, students build their ability to move safely and confidently. PMP also supports concentration, visual tracking, and language development.

Sessions are run in small groups, with our Grade 6 children assisting as leaders, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
