Dear families,
It has been a busy few weeks at school, the end of term and Easter are coming up quickly!
Ride2School Day was celebrated yesterday with students travelling actively to school. A big thanks for GV Independent Packers Pty Ltd who donated fruit for the students to enjoy on the day.
Over the last two weeks the P&F have sold over 500 Zooper Doopers on Fridays. A nice treat for students while the weather has still be warm.
We have brought back the Easter Raffle this year. This is a popular event – see more details below. Thanks to those who have already donated Easter items.

Current events and fundraisers
Zooper Dooper Friday
For the remainder of Term 1, the Parents and Friends will be selling Zooper Doopers on Friday's at lunch time.
Zooper Doopers will be $1.00 each, a maximum of 2 per student. Students are encouraged to bring coins for payment, notes will not be accepted.
Thanks to the parents who have offered to help out selling zooper doopers.
Funds raised will go towards P&F activities and the purchase of sandpit equipment.
Easter Colouring Competition
Colouring pages for the Easter Colouring Competition were sent home with students last week.
Completed colouring pages are due back to the school office by Wednesday, 2nd April.
Prizes will be presented on Friday, 4th April. There will be one prize for each junior and middle years class and one prize for the senior years.
Easter Raffle
This year sees the return of the Easter Raffle!
Raffle tickets have been sent home with students. Tickets are $1 each, please make sure to write name and phone number on each ticket sold.
Tickets and money are to be returned to school by 31 March 2025.
More raffle tickets are available from the office.
The raffle will be drawn on 4 April and winners will be contacted to collect prize.
Money raised will go towards sandpit equipment and soccer goals.
Seeking Donations
The P&F are kindly seeking small donations of easter items that will be used as prizes - items like chocolate easter eggs, craft, books etc. Only new store-bought items accepted.
Items can be sent to school with students up until Thursday 27 March.
Donations will be used to make up prizes - hopefully multiple prizes allowing chances for lots of raffle winners!

Ride 2 School Day - Wednesday, 19th March
Well done to families who travelled to school in an active way on Ride2School Day, Wednesday 19 March 2024.
National Ride2School Day is normally held on Friday 21 March, this is the same date as our school photos this year we have celebrated a few days early.

P&F Involvement
Involvement in the P&F and the school community comes in all different forms and doesn't need to be a big time commitment.
Please reach out to the P&F if you may be able to help out during the year. Requests for help are sent out via Pam/Simon and the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member – please contact us to have a chat. Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.

Register to be a volunteer
If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.

*Volunteer requirements*
Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. These details must be supplied to the school office to also be held confidentially. WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
Business interest
Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?
