'Spend time with someone who makes you feel good about being YOU'.
In 2026, students will take part in Inform & Empower’s Cyber Safety & Digital Wellbeing program, designed to build safe, responsible and positive online behaviours.
Across the year, students will engage in live-streamed incursions covering key topics including digital literacy, healthy digital habits, critical thinking, cyberbullying, online security, being upstanders, help-seeking, consent, and artificial intelligence. The program aims to equip students with the skills and understanding needed to navigate the digital world confidently and safely.
Inform & Empower is endorsed by the eSafety Commissioner as a Trusted eSafety Provider, ensuring high-quality, up-to-date content aligned with national online safety priorities.
We will also share information outlining what students have learned, along with guidance on how families can continue these important discussions. Look out for the parent flyers in upcoming newsletters.
Together, this program supports a safer, more positive digital world for all students.
Parents and Carers Webinar
To strengthen this impact even further, we want to bring parents into the conversation as well.
Inform and Empower runs a parent online seminar, Raising Kids in a Digital World, which is designed to complement your student incursions, helping parents and carers understand the online world their children are navigating, while offering practical strategies they can use at home.
It also provides clear guidance on current issues, including the latest updates to Australia’s social media minimum age legislation.
They are hosting their community webinar on May 14th and Trinity parents are invited to attend. The session will be delivered live for parents and carers by Marty McGauran (primary teacher and cyber safety expert) and Carley McGauran (psychologist and mum of three teenagers). Please see the flyer or link below to gain access to the webinar free of cost. We strongly recommend all parents to attend if they can.
