CANTEEN
The last day of trade for the Student Canteen will be Wednesday 18th September.
CAFE
Food & Drink service will close at 12pm on Friday 20th September.
CAMP AUSTRALIA
Please note that After School Care is available to registered families and will begin at 1pm.
We encourage parents to secure their booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
END OF TERM BUSES
Afternoon buses will depart at approx 1.10pm.
Belgrave Shuttle - Departs 1.03pm
Belgrave Heights Students - Depart 1.10pm
Arrival times for afternoon bus users will be 2.5 hours earlier than their normal scheduled time. ie. if your child usually arrives at their stop at 4.00pm they will be arriving at 1.30pm on this day.

OFFICE CLOSURE
Reception closes at 1:30pm Friday, 20 September (Last day of Term).
Reception will be open on Curriculum day, Monday, 7 October at 9.00am.
Students resume classes on Tuesday 8th October.

BHCS BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE
If you are free, please pop into Scoresby Bunnings (1467 Ferntree Gully Rd) any time during the day on Saturday, 14 September for a delicious sausage in bread cooked to perfection by BHCS students.
Our Year 12 team heading to Thailand at the end of the year are running this sausage sizzle to raise funds for the trip. A huge thank you from the Thailand trip team to IGA Belgrave South for their incredible generosity in donating all of the sausages for our fundraiser at Bunnings. The support of IGA Belgrave South is greatly appreciated.
HOLIDAY READING CHALLENGE
The DC are running a Reading Challenge during the upcoming holidays.
Students can earn up 25 house points:
Borrow a book from the Discovery Centre and READ IT in the holidays! Limit one book per person
Tell a DC Team Member about the book by Friday 11th Oct.
Earn 25 BONUS house points by writing a review on our online system (Orbit/Oliver).
We look forward to hearing about lots of holiday reads!
CAFE CLOSED - THURSDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER
Please note that the School Cafe will be closed on Thursday 19 September due to the High Tea Event, however the School Canteen will be open on this day.
$400 SCHOOL SAVING BONUS FOR HEALTH CARE & PENSION CARD HOLDERS
Further to the State Government’s recent announcement, families who have been eligible for funding through the Camps Sports & Excursion Fund (CSEF) and who will have students in Prep through to Year 12 in 2025, will be eligible to receive the School Saving Bonus. Please see the letter from Premier Jacinta Allan, attached, for more details.
The $400 funding per student, will be paid directly to the School and will be applied as a credit to the 2025 school fee accounts, reducing the total amount of fees payable for 2025.

We understand that family circumstances change over time and that students may leave. If you are planning on withdrawing your child/children from BHCS, please complete the Enrolment Exit Form (linked here). Please note that our Enrolment Policy requires 1 Terms notice of students finishing.

- Hold hands with young children when traversing around the carpark and when crossing the road
- Only cross at the designated crossings
- Keep one large step back from the edge of the footpath while waiting to cross the road
- Only cross the road when instructed by a crossing supervisor
