Rector's Report

Greetings and welcome to the final newsletter for Term 3! It has been a long term of 10 weeks, and I am sure that teachers and students are looking forward to a well-earned rest. Of course, Mazenod doesn’t cease operations even though it is holiday time with the administration, maintenance, IT and ground staff all here catching up on various jobs that can only be accomplished when the students and staff are absent. I pray that you will enjoy the break from the regular routines whilst enjoying some warmer Spring days. Safe travels.

Unfortunately, I do not have much to report on in this final edition as I spent over a week in hospital with some health issues. I am slowly getting back on track with the holidays to help the recovery process. However, the college continued as usual, and I received rave reports about the enjoyable Music Gala and Performing Arts Concert. These events are always highlight on our college calendar and showcase the giftedness of our students and the extraordinary work of our teachers in assisting our students to develop their talents. I was sorry to miss them.  Congratulations to all the award winners at the Musica Gala.

For those interested we are well into the footy finals with the last four teams to battle it our for a place in the 2024 Grand Final. If your team is still alive good luck. I have only two weeks to gloat before a new reigning premiership team will be crowned. There is always next year!

Holiday Thoughts!!
