Senior School Newsletter – Term 3 Highlights

Dear Senior School Community,

As we approach the final stretch of Term 3, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the exciting events and initiatives that have taken place over the past month and to look ahead to the important milestones that lie ahead.

BBQ Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser - A massive thank you to everyone who participated in and supported our BBQ sausage sizzle fundraiser. It was heart warming to see students, staff, and families come together for a great cause. The funds raised will go directly towards assisting displaced citizens in the Middle East, a cause close to our hearts. This initiative was led by Year 12 student Omar Akkar, whose leadership and passion for making a difference have inspired us all.

Elevate Education Seminar - In preparation for the end of the school year, we hosted an Elevate Education seminar that provided students with valuable strategies to manage stress, improve time management, and maximize their study efficiency. These skills are essential as our Year 12s approach their final exams, and we encourage students to implement what they have learned in their study routines.

Practice Exams, Week 10  - A reminder that Week 10 of this term will be dedicated to practice exams for all Year 12 subjects. These exams are an important opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the exam environment, manage their time effectively, and identify areas for improvement before the official exams. We urge all students to approach these exams with seriousness, as they provide valuable feedback in preparation for their final assessments.
