First Communion

Please pray for the students who are preparing to receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion in November.

Father Joby commissioned the children at the Parish Mass on Sunday, giving them a special blessing as they prepare to receive the Eucharist for the first time. 

The students all presented  Father Joby their commissioning forms, which are displayed in the Church.  Please keep these children in your thoughts and prayers.

Camino de Santiago 

This will be my last newsletter for a while, as Ms Julie Feddersen and I plan to travel to Spain to embark on the Camino de Santiago, over the coming weeks.

The Camino de Santiago is a historic pilgrimage route to the tomb of St. James in Spain. For Catholics, it's a journey of faith, reflection, and spiritual growth, offering time for prayer, self-discovery, and a deeper connection with God, while walking in the footsteps of the pilgrims who have travelled the road before.

We look forward to sharing some tales of our adventure with you when we return to school at the end of October!
