Welcome back to all our fabulous Lok Lok Eagles! We hope everyone has a fantastic holiday and enjoyed their much-deserved break.
We love hearing from all our team members after the holidays to see what they have been up to. This week we chatted to some students who were kind enough share what they enjoyed most about their holidays and what they are looking forward to this term. Hudson from F/1K told us that his favourite part of the holidays was going to the bike track with his siblings, he also told us that he is looking forward to the F/1 excursion. Charlotte from 2/3BR said that she enjoyed having playdates and seeing heaps of friends. Charlotte is also looking forward to the upcoming excursions this term, as well as the Christmas carols that are always a great way to celebrate the year. Ryan from 2/3W shared that he enjoyed playing with his cousin in the holidays and is looking forward to using up his full day of couch time after receiving 50 dojo points. This term is going to fly by, and we can’t wait to see you all kicking goals and showing those Super 7’s in all areas both inside and outside of the school grounds. As we dive into Term 4, lets carry the Lok Lok spirit with us! We have a lot to look forward to and it’s going to be an action packed term! We hope you have enjoyed your first two weeks back at school and continue to soar like little legends we know you all are.
Remember, Eagles Soar as One!

“Press from the Pouch”
Week 2, Press from Pouch we will get to know 2 of our star team members! But firstly, congratulations to all individuals who completed something spectacular during the 2-week break. Term 4, sun shining, big term of exciting things ahead and these will all be appreciated and spoken about in our fortnightly article!
Let’s interview Mr James about his amazing sporting efforts that he has been smashing.
What made you or inspired you to do your 2nd marathon on the weekend? A mix of having an injury where I couldn’t run for so long, and seeing people like Ned Brockman doing inspirational things for important causes and going above and beyond!
How did you feel after the race, what emotions did you have? Extremely exhausted and tired but also had an overwhelming sense of pride for doing something that so much effort goes into just to get there!
What super 7 did you draw on when completing the run? Resilience, because there were many times, particularly in the last 10km where legs were hurting and your brain tells you to stop running!
Will you go for your 3rd? YES
Congratulations Mr. James, thank you for inspiring us!
Also, get to know Charli V a superstar member of Kanyul Kangaroos.

A reminder that students can wear their house iron on patches on their school polos. These can be ironed onto students' polos, underneath the Ceres logo. It's great to see some students already wearing theirs!
