Dear Parents, Guardians and students,
As we wrap up a busy term filled with fantastic student achievements, I want to take a moment to reflect on some highlights.
Last week, we held parent-teacher interviews, providing a great opportunity for families to meet with our staff and discuss student progress as we enter the second half of Semester 2.
This term has been many extracurricular activities and interschool sports, including basketball, hockey, and athletics. Our information evenings and course confirmation sessions at the beginning of the term were also very successful.
Yesterday, we completed Peer Leader training for our Year 9 students aspiring to become the next generation of leaders in our school and community. They will continue to hone their leadership skills and play key roles in events such as the Year 7 Orientation Day at the end of the school year.
We conducted our 2025 College Captain interviews this week, and I would like to thank all students who took the time and effort to complete an application and attend an interview. The 2025 College Captains will be announced in the first week of Term 4. We will also be advertising 2025 College Ambassador roles early next term, so stay tuned for more information about the application process, which will be posted on Compass very soon. I encourage anyone interested in representing our school or aspiring leaders to apply!
We also hosted the Flourish Girls program this term, which focused on empowering young girls to build self-awareness, self-connection, and self-confidence.
Today, we celebrated our annual ‘Footy Colours’ Day with a friendly game of AFL between staff and students. It was wonderful to see so many get into the spirit by wearing their favourite team colours.
Looking ahead, Term 4 will be significant for our Year 12 students as they approach their final weeks of secondary education. They will officially finish on Thursday, October 24th, with the VCE exam period starting on Tuesday, October 29th. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that all students maximise their success and are well-prepared for their exams.
I hope everyone enjoys a wonderful holiday break and spends quality time with friends and family. We look forward to welcoming all students back on Monday, October 7th.
Regards,
Leadership Team
