Environment 

During the last fortnight we have collected 50 indigenous native plants from GREENLINK Nursery in Box Hill.  These were donated by Boroondara Council ! 

During KGT the students have been busily planting and protecting their plants. 

The students  would love your help  to make sure the planting, preparation and on-going care gives these native plants  a chance to grow and improve the biodiversity of the grounds. This will benefit all our local native plants and animals to thrive in the B.P.P.S. community for many years to come. 

As well as planting we were very lucky to join in sharing pancakes cooked using our own eggs! 

Thanks to Melissa Lewis for her willingness to drop everything and join the students to make this such an enjoyable event. 

We are continuing to grow the great selection of seeds as the weather warms up. We are using the plastic cups from the canteen as the plant pots. 

The vegetable garden will soon have many seeds growing and will need care and watering over the warmer months.

During our KGT environment program scheduled for every Thursday after lunch - 2.30 - 3.30pm we work together to embrace ideas and to act on initiatives that care for our school and our planet. 

Equipment from Bunnings 

We have been having fun assembling new tools and equipment from Bunnings. 

We need parents to join us for as much time as you can spare. As little as 15 minutes would be a great help! 

Please think about whether you could do this as part of your pick up on a Thursday afternoon.
