Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

In 1/2C this week, we have been reading books about nature. This week we went outside on a nature hunt. We really loved the book ‘Hearts in Nature’ and made our own hearts out of natural things.

Prep - Year 2 Late Night was lots of fun!

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

The Lower Primary Team have had a lot of exciting activities over the past couple of weeks, the sleep over and R U OK? Day activities. For the sleepover we got to stay back at school for a whole night! We got to participate in different activities and even got to have our own pizza for dinner. We watched a movie and had some popcorn. It was a lot of fun!

R U OK? Day had a sausage sizzle and fun games to play! We got to decorate cookies and even got to go on a scavenger hunt!

Upper Primary (Years 5-6)

Grade 5/6 students have been very busy over the last two weeks. There has been a lot of work and fun at the end of the term. With the rest of the school, we discussed RUOK? Day which reminds us to look out for our friends and others and help if they seem upset or sad. Also to help them get assistance from others. We enjoyed a great range of fun activities in the courtyard where students had to share and co-operate with their peers. We have been continuing to study mixtures and recycling as well as measurement and reading activities about the book The Mixed Up Chameleon. Teachers and students have earned themselves a relaxing 2-week holiday. Enjoy your family time together and we will see everyone for a busy and exciting last term of 2024.
