Media
Year 8 Media
Year 8 Media students hit the streets recently to conduct filming for their upcoming documentary project. Interviewing businesses from around the Port precinct, students organised their questions, conducted the interviews, plus filmed filler footage to include in their documentary videos.
The businesses were impressed with the professional nature of our Media students and how well they conducted their shoots. We look forward to seeing their work on the big screen one day in the future!
Thank you to all businesses including - The Odd Captain, Goodyear, Port Ice Creamery, Old Time Penny Arcade, Revive Juice Bar, Christmas Shop & Sweet Co Lolly Shop for taking part in our student documentary projects.
Hitting the Airwaves
Congratulations to Kaleb Faille, Isobella Keillor, Joshua Parker and Ashlyn Shoobert who made their community radio debut on Wednesday 22 November!
Bringing together almost six months work of preparation and recording, the students were thrilled to hit the airwaves with their first radio program on EMFM 104.7!
The segment included a selection of their favourite music as well as commentary about their favourite artists.
Thanks to the EMFM volunteers who have made this fantastic opportunity a reality for our Media students!
