2023 Duke of Edinburgh

Throughout the course of 2023, the Duke of Edinburgh participants have been involved in voluntary service and physical recreation in our local community. Volunteering at diverse businesses, including places like primary schools and St Vincent De Paul, they have showcased a genuine commitment to community welfare. Their efforts, whether in classrooms or working in the community, have left an enduring positive imprint on the community.

The physical recreation component unfolded as a collective journey, with participants engaging in a wide array of sports and skills at many different clubs around our  community. From team sports fostering camaraderie, to individual pursuits promoting personal growth, their endeavours reflect adaptability and enthusiasm. Creating their own tournaments, mastering new sports, and honing individual skills, these young achievers have demonstrated not only physical prowess but also resilience and determination.

2023 Silver Award recipients are poised to achieve their hours before the end of the year including Jaxon Bourke and Chelsea Newton.

The experiences gained have equipped them with the confidence to embrace new challenges and continue their journey towards personal growth and achievement.

Congratulations to the participants for their outstanding accomplishments in the 2023 Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.
