Respect, Responsibility and Kindness
Hello from Grade 2/3 M.B
As this term draws to a close we have been looking a poetry in class. We have done some work around free poetry, taking a descriptive paragraph and cutting it up and changing words to make it flow and sound interesting. We've also been working on Haikus. A Japanese form of poetry consisting of three line containing 17 syllables in a 5,7,5 pattern.
Here are some of our efforts.
I smell the roses
As I walk through the garden
I feel the suns rays.
Christmas eve is here
tomorrow is Christmas day
I can't wait for it.
