Upcoming Learning:
During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:
Reading: To understand the features and structures of letters.
Writing: To write a letter.
Math: To connect fractions and decimal numbers.
Social Emotional Learning: To identify strategies to help with stress and anxiety.
To identify strategies to build resilience.
Humanities/Inquiry: To identify a sustainable problem in our community.
Spelling: To read and spell words which contain al spellings which say ‘or’ / ‘orl’.
News and Reminders:
Wellbeing- It is incredibly important that students are attending school as much as possible and coming to school with enough sleep, in order to learn throughout the day.
Sun Smart- Students must all have their hats. Also, a big reminder for students to bring their water bottle especially heading into the warmer months.
Sustainability focus- Humanities is focusing on sustainable living and your child may come home with some suggestions to try at home.
Celebration of Learning:
Our students created a procedure and took it to the preps for them to have a go.
