Talent Showcase for a good cause

Last Thursday, the It’s a Gig class put on their class concert. It was an outstanding evening showcasing the talents of the It’s a Gig class, while raising money for Cancer Council Victoria. As part of the course, students organise and stage the event. Students took on an array of roles, including marketing, working on the door, arranging tickets, setting up and packing up the sound, managing lighting, photography, MCing and performing. 

Around 85 people attended the concert in the theatre. There was great variety in performers and styles and over $500 was raised for Cancer Council Victoria.
