AROUND THE SCHOOL
We are never alone in sharing the faith, because it is the Lord with me who transmits the faith, and Jesus promised: “I will be with you every day until the end of the world.”

Well! Here we are, heading into the last week of the 2023 school year. I hope that you have all your shopping under way and are ticking off the to do list.
Please remember that even though next week is the last week, every day counts. This is a time when new friendship bonds can be made as children are introduced, meeting other students from their 2024 class and where anxieties for the next year may be relieved. Besides that there is much fun to be had and Christmas cheer to be shared.
If you are thinking ahead to the new year and purchasing new uniforms for your children please remember to consult the uniform page attached to this Bulletin for the uniform requirements. You can order new uniforms via CDF pay or you can make contact with the office if you'd like to see if we have any second hand uniforms in your required size.
I was delighted to celebrate our graduating Grade 6 students at their Graduation Mass on Wednesday evening. All of the students presented themselves so well and are a testament to their strong values and faith. I look forward to continuing the celebrations as I join them on the bike rides to Meeniyan and Inverloch next week.
Don't forget to reach out if you are needing any support with regard to school fees or wellbeing, we are here to help at any time.
Liz
We have many families on our books with outstanding school fees and whilst we appreciate that this time of year, combined with the rise in the cost of living, can be difficult, an arrangement must be made. We are a fee paying school and the fees that we receive are used to program and fund the activities for your children.
Please return your school fee intention forms for 2024 to the office as a matter of urgency or make direct contact with Liz O'Loughlin to discuss any financial issues you may be experiencing. Liz can be contacted via e-mail at princial@stlleongatha.catholic.edu.au or by phoning 5662 2192.
If you are paying by direct debit installments please set these up now so that you are ready to go for the beginning of the Term 1 2024.
If you would like to volunteer at school next year be sure to apply for or renew your Working With Children Check.
You can apply, renew, update or find your card number by logging on to Service Victoria at https://www.vic.gov.au/working-with-children-check

Dear Jesus, you entered our world on Christmas as the Prince of Peace.
This Advent, as we strive to become the-best-version-of-ourselves, fill us with a deep and abiding peace.
Help us share that peace with everyone we encounter, especially those who need it most. Amen.
