Wow, what a night. On Monday 27th November we conducted our 2023 Graduation ceremony at Kardinia Hall. It was fantastic to see all the students dressed formally and looking so grown up.
It is a great venue to have access to as it allows for all members and all extended family to attend.
After the formalities the students participated in their choice of dinner- not surprisingly- pizza, soft drink and cup cups!
This was followed by a disco night and photo booth opportunities.
I would like to sincerely thank Kardinia Church for allowing us to use their venue and the Fursland family who kindly donated the photo booth for the students.
The night was such a success due to the extensive planning by the Grade 5/6 staff who have spent a great deal of their own time planning and organising this event. Again, I am so lucky to have such a dedicated and caring staff who always put in maximum effort. Thank you to each of you for your efforts and for giving up your own family commitments to ensure the students had a great night.
Staff had the difficult task of nominated some students for specific awards. This was not an easy task as each student has strong qualities that need acknowledgment. Unfortunately, we only have 5 specific awards and the following students were specifically recognised
Edith Leach Award- Sienna Jorgensen
Richard Marles Award- Summah Fursland
REACH Award- Tyler Bennett
REACH Award-Sharvarntay Edwards
SSV Sports Award-Xander Mitchell
Ella George Award- Tahliya Sharma
