HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?
Over the hot weeks of summer our productive gardens have continued growing seasonal produce - tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, beans, capsicums, strawberries and lots of herbs, most of which was planted by our Grade 1 and 2 green thumbs in 2024.
Look out for a garden market stall, run by the new sustainability student leaders in the coming weeks.
Want to join our Green Team?
The Sustainability Committee are looking to invite Ripponlea School Community members to be part of our team committed to:
- Improving school sustainability practices and reducing the environmental impact of the school.
- Creating beautiful & productive garden spaces for our children to be nourished, connected to and inspired during their time in our lovely school.
Do you want to contribute and be involved in the school in a meaningful and hands on way?
Love the idea of creating garden spaces for the children in the school?
Not really keen to get your hands dirty in the gardens but can engage your skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to make a difference in sustainable school initiatives?
Wish to make connections and get to know other parents?
With meetings which, while amiable, are short, sweet and focussed…time savviness is how we love to roll.
Come and make a difference …
