Avenues Exchange

The Avenues Exchange is a long running tradition at Cheltenham Secondary College. Now in its 58th year, Chelt.Sec and Avenues College will take part in 28 events, across three days. The Exchange is the biggest addition to our school calendar, an event that students and staff take great pride in. Our selected squad will consist of no more than 80 students, ranging from Years 7 to 12. This year we welcome our friends from South Australia to take part in The Exchange here at Cheltenham.
Avenues tryouts are open to all students who are willing to represent the college during the exchange in the final week of Term 2. However, The Exchange requires students to demonstrate our school values to the highest level consistently, maintaining class work and behaviour standards throughout the entire process. Failure to do so will result in removal from the try-out process.
Trainings:
It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the student to make the training sessions on time with appropriate equipment and/or uniform. These take place before school, at lunchtime, and after school.
**If your student is unable to make a session due to absence, they must personally speak to or email the Teacher/Coach/Ms Hargreaves to ensure they are accounted for.**
For most events we will be reducing the squad sizes after the first training, these will be posted on the Avenues Board in the Gym (as well as the Training Schedule).
