Instrumental Music

Discover the Joy of Music – Learn an Instrument!
Music is more than just sound—it's an adventure, a creative outlet, and a skill that lasts a lifetime. At St Bede’s College, we encourage all students to explore the exciting world of music by learning a musical instrument.
Playing an instrument has countless benefits. It boosts brainpower, enhances concentration, builds confidence, and even helps with stress relief. Plus, being part of a band or ensemble is a fantastic way to make new friends and create unforgettable memories.
If you’re in Year 7 and interested in learning an instrument, we invite you to attend an Instrumental Music Information Session this month.
Mentone Campus (Performing Arts Auditorium) – Monday 17 February, 3:30 pm
Bentleigh East Campus (VPAC) – Monday 24, February 3:30 pm
For students in other year levels, enrolments are now open! Please contact music.admin@stbedes.catholic.edu.au to request an enrolment form and start your musical journey.
Our Music Department is a vibrant and welcoming space where students of all skill levels can thrive. Whether you dream of playing the guitar, piano, drums, or trumpet—or even joining the college drumline or the vocal ensemble—we would love for you to get involved!
Don’t miss this opportunity to discover your musical talent. We look forward to welcoming you.
