Dear families,
PARENT, STUDENT, TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Parent, Student, teacher Interviews commenced this week, Staff have thoroughly enjoyed catching up with families to share the children’s growth in all areas.
SPORTS CLINIC
On Tuesday, Grade 3 and 4 students took part in an engaging hour-long games clinic. The event was organised by former student Lucy Kinnane, in collaboration with a group of Greater Shepparton Secondary College students. Throughout the session, students enjoyed a variety of sports, including netball, tee-ball, soccer, and European handball.
ILLNESSES
Over the past two weeks, we have experienced several cases of school sores, gastro, COVID, and sore throats. Our cleaning team has responded promptly by increasing their cleaning schedule to maintain a safe environment. We encourage families to keep children home if they are unwell to help prevent the spread of illness.
DEPARTMENT GUIDELINES:
GASTRO: In an outbreak of gastroenteritis, exclude until there has not been vomiting or a loose bowel motion for 48 hours, and for all other diarrhoeal illnesses exclude until there has not been vomiting or a lose bowel motion for 24 hours.
SCHOOL SORES: Exclude until appropriate treatment has commenced. Sores on exposed surfaces must be covered with a watertight dressing.
COVID: A person diagnosed with COVID-19 should: isolate until 5 days after the date of the positive test result for COVID-19 and until resolution of acute symptoms of COVID-19. They should not attend a workplace or education facility during this time.
SCHOOL COUNCIL
On Monday night we had our first meeting for the year. Our Annual implementation Plan was presented and approved. Approval was also given for two Curriculum Days in Term 2.
