Shrove Tuesday
We will host our annual Shrove Tuesday morning for children on Tuesday 4th March. Please donate 1 packet of pancakes (store-bought or homemade) to the school on Tuesday morning (4th March) and bring in a gold coin donation for Caritas.
We will also be looking for a few parent volunteers to help set up, serve and clean up on the day.
Please email info@staclovelly.catholic.edu.au if you can volunteer.
Lenten Seeds of Hope: Family Initiative for Lent
Lent begins next week, and to mark this special time, each family will receive a Lenten Seeds of Hope pack. This pack includes a packet of sunflower seeds and a reflection on Lent as a season to pull up weeds and plant new seeds—a time for renewal and growth.
Sunflowers are a symbol of hope, and in this Jubilee Year of Hope, we pray that this initiative will inspire reflection and renewal in your family’s Lenten journey.
We would love to see your flowers bloom! Please send in photos of your sunflowers as they grow or of your family planting the seeds together.
Wishing you a blessed and hope-filled Lent
