Principal's Report
This week we have seen our School-Wide Positive Behaviour 'Celebration Tree' start to come to life, thanks to the very creative Mie-Mie!
Students have been very busy collecting eggs for all their efforts in displaying our expected behaviours whilst in class or in the yard, leading to a beautiful collection of Chicks and Birds earned already this term! This expecially impressive, given the very hot weather we have been experiencing. I couldn't be prouder of our wonderful students!
Chick and Bird Tally:
Compassion - 2 Chicks + 3 Birds = 320 eggs!
Courage - 3 Chicks + 1 Bird = 130 eggs!
Ambition - 4 Chicks + 4 Birds = 440 eggs!
Creativity - 2 Chicks + 1 Bird = 120 eggs!
Ambition
We are particularly proud of the AMBITION students have shown in abundance while beginning the school year.
Please come along and enjoy each other's company at our school Welcome Picnic this coming Thursday 20th February. We cannot wait to see everyone and enjoy a relaxing dinner with you all. Hope to see you there!
Every year we conduct an election process for Box Hill North Primary School and Kindergarten School Council. The first step is to let our community know how many School Council membership positions are available, as on the below form. There are FOUR Parent Member positions available for nomination for 2025. These positions will be a two-year membership of School Council. If you're interested in nominating yourself or another parent in our community, please feel free to come and have a chat with me. More information about School Council is below.
Nomination forms are available at the school office from today until next Thursday 20th February, 4pm.
