Here at OSHC, it has been very busy with meeting all the new and previous families. Children are settling in smoothly and they are making lots of bonds with peers and educators.

 

IMPORTANT Dates:

  • Tuesday 11/2/25 – OSHC Subcommittee Meeting 

Our first OSHC Subcommittee meeting will be tomorrow at 8pm online. New families are welcome to join this amazing group. If you are interested in becoming part of the OSHC subcommittee please email Bernadetta.martella@education.vic.gov.au.

 

  • Friday 14/2/25 - Wominjeka Picnic

We are waiting for the confirmation of one of the Elders for the Welcome to Country ceremony at 3:30pm, following by the Smoking Ceremony held by Uncle Trevor. 

 

  • Tuesday 25/2/25 Meet and Greet event – OSHC BBQ 

Please come and join us to our annual BBQ event to meet and greet new families, educators and connect with the OSHC community. We are looking for some volunteers to help out with our sausage sizzle (hallah and vegetarian options). If you are free and you would like to help please let Bernadetta know.

 

  • Thursday 27/3/25 – Student Free Day – All Day OSHC will be available
  • Friday 28/3/25 - Student Free Day - All Day OSHC will be available

All Day OSHC will run on both days. If you need care on those day, you can request a booking through your Xplor Home app, alternatively, please send an email to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

All Day OSHC will run from 7:30am -6pm, cost: $85. Excursion and incursion may be included during these days. Stay Tuned.

 

IMPORTANT Notes:

 

1. How to enrol your child to OSHC

If your child is already enrolled in OSHC, do not create another enrolment. 

If you are new to OSHC and you need to enrol your child, please click the below link:

2. Bookings

  • For casual Bookings: You can make your casual bookings through your Xplor Home app
  • For permanent booking for 2025, you need to email to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au the days and the sessions (Before or After School Care) that you may need.

3. Absence: you can mark your child absent through your Xplor Home app for both casual and permanent booking. Please refer to the summary fee table:

Note: you cannot remove a booking through the app. If you need to change your permanent booking please email oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

 

4. Medical Conditions:

If your child has a medical condition, such as asthma, allergies and so on, you are required to provide:

  • A current medical plan signed and dated by a doctor
  • Any current medication
  • Complete a Risk Minimisation Plan

By law, we cannot accept any children with medical condition without a medical plan or/and medication. Therefore, your bookings may be suspended, until you provide the documents and medication needed.

 

5. Accounts/Statement  - CCS

Please check your statement regularly. Make sure that your CCS is applied and your direct debit transactions are going through successfully (insufficient funds or change of credit card details, i.e. expiring date).

6. School Holiday Program:

It seems early to think about school holidays, however, it takes a long time to organize activities, including incursions and excursions.  Most of our activities are planned – only a couple to be confirmed. Please see flyer for the upcoming SHP in April.
