Principal Message

Be Kind, Be safe, Be respectful, Be responsible, Be resilient, Be ready

Dear Families,

I would like to warmly invite all members of our school community to join us in celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday, 2 August, at St Mary's Church. This is a significant milestone in the faith journey of four of our students, who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Greg.

Please keep Ethan, Mason, Talia and William in your prayers as they prepare to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit through this special sacrament. We congratulate them and their families on this important occasion and look forward to sharing in their celebration.

Following the Mass, the parish warmly invites everyone to enjoy a cuppa and refreshments in the Parish Hall, located next to the church. It will be a wonderful opportunity to come together as a wider parish and school community, celebrating not only our Confirmation candidates but also the strong partnership we share.

The parish also extends a warm invitation to any of our school choir students to join the parish choir in leading the music during the celebration. Students are asked to gather at the front of the church, to the left of the altar, before Mass begins.

Next week we will also be holding our Parent-Teacher Interviews. These meetings are an integral part of our partnership with families and provide an important opportunity to celebrate your child's achievements, discuss their progress and learning goals, and work together to support their ongoing success at school. I encourage all families to attend and value this dedicated time with your child's teacher.

Finally, a reminder that our next Parents and Friends Meeting will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, 30 August, at the school. Our Parents and Friends group plays a valuable role in supporting our students, staff and wider school community. Whether you are a long-time member or are considering becoming involved for the first time, we warmly invite you to come along. Your ideas, support and involvement are always appreciated, and we would love to see you there.

Thank you for your continued support of our school and parish community. Together, we continue to provide a rich and faith-filled environment where our children can learn, grow and flourish.

Warm regards,

Pamela McKillop
