Extracurricular Activities
Coding Club
We have had a great start to the term and the students are excited about our new Coding Club morning sessions and would like to tell you what they are doing.
Emily Hart, and many other students, received certificates this week from Hour of Code for completing a range of block coding game. Emily showed dedication, creativity and problem solving skills to design a game that she was proud to show the group.
“We love coding because it gives us lots of experience with computers and fun in the mornings, and coding games brighten up our morning by giving us something to look forward to. Some of the good coding games on Hour of Code are Rodocodo, Mosquito patrol and code monkey! They also have educational games like maps, design a robot and Minecraft Education edition!
We very much thank our teacher Miss Courtenay for organising this for our school.”
Anabel King and Roxanne Blay
Coding is held each Thursday morning from 8.20am in the Library, anyone from years 3 to Years 6 are welcome to join us.
