Curriculum and Learning - Stage 3
A busy week inside and outside of the classroom with Book Week and Grandparents’ Day highlighting the importance of both community as well as hearing from published writers to reveal the important processes involved in creating written texts.
Book Week provided so many opportunities to explore the fantastic literature we are so fortunate to have available at our fingertips. It also highlights the importance of telling memorable stories that are retold time and time again as well as capturing our interest and imagination with the many characters being instrumental for the storytelling.
Grandparents’ Day is such an important day on the calendar, and we thank the many grandparents who were able to join us for the morning. So many grandparents were so proud (and rightfully so!) of their grandson. From the Mass to the morning tea to open classrooms, it was so great to see the many proud grandparents behind the SPC boy and how their involvement in their life plays a pivotal role in the man they are becoming.
