District Athletics Carnival

On August 29th, we proudly participated in the District Athletics Carnival at the Tom Kelly Athletics Track, where 57 of our talented students from Grades 3-6 competed against schools from across the district.

The day was filled with determination and exceptional performances, as our students gave their best in every event.  We're thrilled to share that 21 of our athletes have advanced to the Division Athletics early next term, a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Templestowe Park finished an impressive 2nd overall, showcasing the strength and spirit of our school community.

Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding efforts!

**Our Exciting Trip to Chesterfield Farm**

On Tuesday, the Prep students went on an exciting adventure to Chesterfield Farm. The day was filled with fun and learning as we explored the farm and met many friendly animals.

We had the chance to milk a cow. The farmer showed us how to gently squeeze the cow's udder, and each of us got a turn to try it ourselves. It was a little tricky at first, but we were all proud when we finally got some milk!

We also got to feed different animals around the farm. The animals were very hungry and excited to see us. It was amazing to be so close to them and to learn about what they like to eat. We had to make sure we kept our hands flat so the animals couldn’t nibble on our hand.

The tractor ride around the farm was exciting. The tractor was big and green, and we all climbed aboard. As the tractor drove around the farm, we saw even more animals.

One of the highlights of the day was watching the dog show. Scout was incredibly smart, and he showed us how to round up sheep and even surf on their back. Scout ran quickly and worked hard to guide the sheep into their pen. It was very impressive!

Our day at Chesterfield Farm was an amazing experience. We learned so much about farm life and had lots of fun with our friends. We can’t wait to share all the stories with our families and remember this wonderful day for a long time!
