Year 2 Sport!

In Sport this Term, we have been focussing on Target Games. We have learnt how to throw a ball or beanbag at a target. We have focussed on whether we need an overarm or underarm throw and how hard we have to throw the ball or beanbag to reach the target. In one of our activities, we had to throw a beanbag towards a target and then calculate how many points we had after five throws. This lesson linked directly with the Addition concepts we were focussing on in Mathematics that week. We have had a fun time learning the skills to throw correctly this term.
