Year 3 have been reading the novel ‘Rowan of Rin’ by Emily Rodda as part of our English unit. The story focuses on the development and growth of the main character. The students created freeze frames to show the development of Rowan throughout the novel, it was a challenging activity to find one position that showed his growth personally.

Whilst in visual art, we have been looking at and recreating Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night. This artwork has combined the use of acrylic paint and oil pastels. Students needed to paint the background and mix colours as needed to try their best to replicate the original artwork. We think that they have done a very good job.
