Women in STEM Program

Students from the Future STEM Leaders program had the exciting opportunity to meet with ambassadors from RMIT for the second phase of the Women in STEM Program. The focus of their discussion was on planning and organising a hands-on workshop for primary school students, centered around using surveying equipment. The ambassadors guided the students through the steps of running an engaging and educational session, emphasizing how to run icebreakers and introduce younger learners to the basics of surveying technology.

This collaboration not only allowed the Future STEM Leaders to deepen their understanding of real-world applications in STEM fields, but it also gave them valuable leadership experience as they prepare to share their knowledge with the next generation of students. The workshop promises to be a fun, interactive learning experience for the primary students, while fostering teamwork and communication skills among the program participants.
