Creative Arts Learning for K-6 Students

Our Creative Arts program for Kindergarten to Year 6 nurtures students’ creativity, imagination, and critical thinking through Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Arts. Younger students (K–2) explore the arts to develop expressive skills, collaborate, and learn about cultures, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Practices. Older students (Years 3–6) deepen their artistic understandings, express ideas through more complex creative works, and study diverse cultural perspectives across time and place.

Parents and carers play a vital role in supporting their child’s creative development at home. You can encourage artistic play, provide props and materials, explore a variety of music styles, and support your child to present and perform their creative works. Attending arts events together also enriches their learning experience.

Together, we can inspire children to build confidence, communication skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
