Student Learning - Foundation and Italian

In Maths, we have been exploring 2D shapes and learning about their properties, including sides and corners. We used our new learning to create our own colourful shape cities! In Science, we have been investigating weather and discovered how rain comes from clouds through a messy, hands-on experiment.  

In Inquiry we have been learning about different cultures around the world - today learning about Greece! The students had lots of fun learning about Greek foods, houses and culture, even doing their own ‘Dancing Zorba!’ Jack, in FGM, being of Greek background himself, was particularly enthused about the lesson. He was eager to share lots about Greece, Greek Easter, and lessons learned from his “Papu and Yiayia.”
