CAREERS MEETINGS
Meetings with Ms Dimasi will be scheduled throughout Term 1 and into Term 2 for all Year 11 and 12 students.
This meeting is intended to assist you plan future pathways beyond the college, and to ensure you are equipped with the information required to make the best individual decision to meet your goals.
If you are unsure of the direction you wish to take, this meeting is even more important.
Students will receive an email with a calendar invite.
This meeting is not optional.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Work experience is the short-term placement of students with employers to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located. Students are encouraged to organise their work experience placement early so that they have the greatest chance of securing their place of choice.
It provides students with the valuable opportunity to:
- Develop employability skills.
- Explore possible career options.
- Understand employer expectations.
- Increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence.

2024 FUTURES DAY
Registrations are now open for La Trobe University and SuniTAFE Futures Day 2024. Futures Day is a fun and interactive way for students to explore their post-Year 12 study options.

MONASH UNIVERSITY MED-TORING PROGRAM
THE UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE - MILDURA EVENT
The University of Melbourne will be hosting an information session in Mildura this March. The presentation is aimed at Year 12 students and their parents or guardians, with information about University of Melbourne courses, entry requirements, SEAS, scholarships and accommodation. The formal presentation runs for about 1 hour, and the remaining time is reserved for questions from students and parents.
